About Me

I am a 1996 honors graduate of the Boulder School of Massage Therapy, and a 1991 graduate of the University of Michigan. Growing up in northern Michigan, I spent the majority of my time outside—when weather allowed—biking, skiing, and playing tennis and generally running around. Colorado seemed like a good fit after college and I first moved to Breckenridge for a few years before a few old injuries drove me into the doctors’ office and then into massage school in Boulder.

My work focuses primarily with people interested in maintaining their health and fitness through active participation and knowledge of their individual physiques and needs. I am not looking to “fix” people, but rather bring awareness to areas of the body that need attention in order to function properly. I use primarily Deep Tissue massage, Sports massage, and Swedish massage to encourage blood flow and lymph drainage in areas that feel particularly “tight” or congested, allowing more healing, movement, relief of pain, and better performance. I also try to achieve these with minimal discomfort—I think massage should be relaxing too.
